Privacy policy

Who we are

This policy covers moissaniteit.com, run by Olivia Star Jewelry LLC, 7050 W Palmetto Park Rd, Ste 15-846, Boca Raton, FL 33433.

What we collect

When you order, we collect your name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, and what you bought. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

How we use it

To fulfill and ship your order, send order and shipping updates, handle returns and warranty, prevent fraud, and keep our accounting. If you sign up for emails, we use your email for our newsletter; you can unsubscribe at any time.

Analytics and cookies

We measure how the site is used so we can fix what does not work and improve what does. We use these tools:

Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) counts pages and products viewed, items added to the bag, checkout steps, completed orders (order number, items and amount, never your name, email, address or card) and actions in the “Try to scratch it” game. It sets first-party cookies named _ga and _ga_*, which last up to 2 years, and we keep its event data for 14 months. Google signals and all advertising features are turned off. How Google uses this data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) shows us how visitors scroll, tap and move through the pages, as heatmaps and session replays, so we can see where the site is confusing or broken. Text you type into fields is masked and never sent, and the payment form is a secure Stripe frame that Clarity cannot see. Clarity sets first-party cookies named _clck (1 year) and _clsk (1 day), and Microsoft may set its own cookies on Microsoft domains (such as CLID and MUID); Clarity’s advertising storage is turned off. Clarity keeps replays for 30 days (a small sample and any we save to study a problem for up to 13 months) and heatmaps for 13 months. For more about how Microsoft collects and uses data, see the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies, and our own event log, which records actions such as “tool used” or “added to bag” with the country, but without your IP address.

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google Analytics and Clarity set no cookies: Google Analytics sends only cookieless signals, and Clarity treats every page view as a new visit.

On the checkout page, Stripe sets its own cookies (__stripe_mid and __stripe_sid) to prevent card fraud. We do not use advertising cookies. Your bag is saved in your own browser (local storage) on your device. If we add other analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy first.

Turning analytics off

This button switches off Google Analytics and Clarity in this browser; the choice is saved on your device. You can also block cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out add-on.

Who we share it with

Only with the services that run the order and the site: Stripe for payments, the carrier and our shipping software for labels and tracking, our hosting providers, and the analytics tools above (Google and Microsoft), which process site usage data for us. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it or delete it, subject to the records we must keep by law. Call or write to us using the Contact page. We do not sell or share personal information; we also treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request not to.

How long we keep it

Order and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept as described above: 14 months in Google Analytics, 30 days for Clarity replays and 13 months for its heatmaps.

Security

The whole site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Card payments are handled by Stripe, a PCI DSS certified payment processor.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we post the new version on this page with its date.
